John J. DeBoy's practice focuses on high-stakes civil litigation, with particular emphases on product liability matters, mass tort defense, and commercial disputes. John’s experience includes trial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country, and he also advises clients concerning litigation risk in transactional matters involving potential mergers and acquisitions. John’s clients span a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, automotive, and consumer products.

John maintains an active pro bono practice that includes civil litigation, representation of prisoners in parole hearings, and representation of criminal defendants, including in capital cases.

Prior to pursuing a legal career, John worked for several years as a management consultant and engagement manager for Deloitte Consulting LLP. During his time at Deloitte, John managed large-scale financial systems implementations, information technology strategy assessments, and business process optimization projects for clients in the consumer business, insurance, banking, and aerospace and defense industries.
